Zak Sos is an American journalist, working as a reporter at KTVU 2 in San Francisco, California, United States. In October 2021, Sos enrolled at KTVU. He covered the arrest of Lonnie Coffman, one of the initial suspected January 6 co-conspirators, in Alabama before joining the station. Coffman’s car was found to have Molotov cocktails close to the Capitol building. Following a horrific 2015 Metro-North train disaster north of New York City that resulted in six fatalities, over a dozen injuries, and a revision of federal safety laws, Zak covered the event live. After leaving Sacramento in 2008, André returned to California and enrolled at KTVU in January 2018. André began his career in television at WSVN in Miami, where he advanced from news writer to news producer. He departed for a comparable role at Sacramento’s KOVR/KMAX.
