Anthony Everett Biography / Wiki

Anthony Everett is the Emmy Award-winning anchor of WCVB Channel 5’s nightly newsmagazine, “Chronicle.” He joined the program in September 2005. He has also served as co-anchor of NewsCenter 5 at 5, 5:30, 6 and 11 PM. Anthony has consistently contributed to special reports for every WCVB newscast while serving as the organization’s senior correspondent for breaking news and significant national events. The National Headliner Award for Breaking News in 2003, the Associated Press Awards for Investigative Reporting and Documentary Reporting in 2012, and the Edward R. Ed Harding is an American journalist, co-anchor of NewsCenter 5 at 4:00, 6:00, 7:00 and 11:00 PM, as well as co-host of WCVB’s weekly political roundtable program “On the Record” (Sun., 11 AM). Ed has been a member of NewsCenter 5 for almost forty years and is an award-winning local journalist. Among the many honors he has received are two first-place Massachusetts Broadcasters Association Sound Bites awards for On-Air Personality and four Boston/New England Emmy awards for best Anchor-News. In 1988, Ed became a reporter and weekend sports anchor at WCVB. In 2000, he joined the EyeOpener newscast as co-anchor, and in 2004, he was added to the 11 PM newscast.
