Jay Jefferies is an American award-winning Chief Meteorologist for WFXG Fox 54 in the United States. Jay joined the WFXG-TV Fox 54 Weather Team in August 2016, with over 44 years of experience. His faith was put to the test in May 2013, and people started to ask, “Where in Augusta is Jay Jefferies”? For six months, he was not seen on television. He had heart surgery and a mini-stroke as a result of his severe illness, which kept him in three hospitals.
