Mitch Albom Biography / Wiki
Mitch Albom is an American author, sports journalist, talk show host and philanthropist. His books are said to have sold 40 million copies globally as of 2021. Albom became interested in journalism while residing in New York. He started writing during the day for the Queens Tribune, a weekly newspaper in Flushing, New York, while continuing to make ends meet by working nights in the music industry. He was admitted to the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism thanks to his efforts there. He obtained a job as a babysitter to help pay for his tuition. Albom accepted a part-time job with SPORT magazine in addition to playing the piano at night. Following college, he worked as a freelance reporter for Sports Illustrated, GEO, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. (more…)
