Jake Hamilton is an American journalist, anchor and reporter for FOX 32. Previously, he served as an Entertainment Reporter for KRIV-TV (Fox 26 Houston). At the age of 14, Hamilton started his career as a film critic by writing several letters to the Houston Chronicle outlining his qualifications for the role. In April 2002, he was given the job. On May 9, 2002, his first review of the summer blockbuster “Spider-Man” was released.
Hamilton was able to expand into Top Ten Lists, Oscar coverage, and even publicity contests as his name grew. A publicity contest while working with the Houston Chronicle soon became the well-known “Win A Date With Jake Hamilton” contest, inspired by the movie Win A Date With Tad Hamilton.
