Zak Sos is an American journalist, working as a reporter at KTVU 2 in San Francisco, California, United States. In October 2021, Sos enrolled at KTVU. He covered the arrest of Lonnie Coffman, one of the initial suspected January 6 co-conspirators, in Alabama before joining the station. Coffman’s car was found to have Molotov cocktails close to the Capitol building. Following a horrific 2015 Metro-North train disaster north of New York City that resulted in six fatalities, over a dozen injuries, and a revision of federal safety laws, Zak covered the event live.
