Anna Coren is an Australian journalist working as a foreign correspondent for CBS News based in Hong Kong. She has previously been a news anchor and international correspondent with CNN. In December 2003, Coren started working for the Seven Network, replacing Naomi Robson as the host of the summer edition of Today Tonight and providing late news updates. Coren took over as Seven News’ US reporter in 2005 after Mike Amor went back to Australia to host Seven 4.30 News. She made an appearance on Sunrise’s Global Notebook program in this capacity.
Coren covered the 2005 G8 Summit at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland and the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah War from northern Israel while serving as the Seven Network’s U.S. correspondent.
