Robert Costa is an American journalist working as a national correspondent for CBS Sunday Morning and the chief Washington analyst for CBS News. Before joining CBS in 2022, Costa was a longtime national political reporter for The Washington Post. In the past, he served as the moderator and managing editor of Washington Week on PBS and as a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. The conservative journal National Review hired him as a reporter in 2010. He was elevated to National Review’s Washington editor in December 2012. Costa contributed to MSNBC, CNBC, and The Kudlow Report while working at National Review.
