Kate Sullivan is an American Emmy-award-winning journalist, television show host, producer, and television news anchor. She was a co-anchor of the evening news for WBBM-TV in Chicago with Rob Johnson from September 2010 to September 2015. After starting as an intern at the CBS affiliate WSBT-TV in South Bend, Indiana, Sullivan advanced to the position of general assignment reporter, marking the beginning of her career in the Midwest. She began working as a general assignment reporter at KATV, an ABC-affiliated television station in Little Rock, Arkansas, owned by Allbritton Communications Company, in 2000.

She was elevated to KATV’s Live at Five anchor in 2002, and in 2003, she also began anchoring Channel 7 News Nightside and Channel 7 News at 6 p.m. During her time at KATV, Kate covered 9/11 from New York’s Ground Zero and shared accounts of Arkansans who lost loved ones in the catastrophe.
