Ruth Marcus is an American journalist, anchor and reporter working as a political commentator. She worked for The Washington Post from 1984 to 2025, where she wrote an op-ed column and served as the Deputy Editorial Page Editor for the newspaper. Marcus had been with The Post since 1984.
