David Nakamura is an American journalist, anchor and reporter currently working as the White House reporter for The Washington Post. In 1992, David Nakamura began working as a summer intern at The Washington Post. He worked as a sports reporter for four years before joining the local news crew, where he covered city government in the District and education in Virginia and Maryland. He was a member of the team that discovered significant levels of lead pollution in the tap water of Washington, D.C., in 2004.
