Before joining WJBK, Fox 2 News he served as a Meteorologist for four years at WWL-TV in Greater New Orleans. In 2012, he was awarded the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal from the American Meteorological Society.

In 2012, Hurricane Isaac made landfall less than 100 miles south of New Orleans and they were on air 24 hours a day for 5 straight days.
