Wolf Blitzer is an American journalist, television news anchor, and author currently working as one of the principal anchors at the network. He joined CNN as a reporter in 1990.
Since 2005, he has hosted The Situation Room, which is now officially called The Situation Room with Pamela Brown and Wolf Blitzer. Blitzer has co-hosted the program with Pamela Brown since March 2025. Before that, he was the network’s primary political anchor until 2021 and the only host of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer from 2005 to 2025, when the program ran in the early evening.
