Erin Burnett is an American journalist, anchor and reporter currently working as the anchor of Erin Burnett OutFront on CNN. She previously worked for CNBC as co-anchor of Squawk on the Street and the host of Street Signs. Burnett started out as a financial analyst in the investment banking section of Goldman Sachs, where she worked on corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. Burnett was given a job at CNN as a writer and booker for CNN’s Moneyline with Lou Dobbs, Willow Bay, and Stuart Varney while he was employed as an investment-banking analyst.
