Dave Feldman is an American Emmy-winning sports anchor and sportscaster. Formerly at ESPN and WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C., Feldman started his current position as a reporter and television anchor for Comcast SportsNet Bay Area in San Francisco, California, on July 23, 2012. In addition to anchoring and reporting for the San Francisco 49ers programming, Feldman was hired by CSN Bay Area to host the network’s regular studio show, SportsNet Central, which includes pre- and post-game shows for Major League Baseball, NBA basketball, and NHL hockey broadcasts. Feldman worked as the sports director and anchor for WTTG-TV FOX 5 in Washington, D.C., for 12 years before relocating to the CSN Bay Area.
In addition to announcing college basketball games for Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, he began working at WTTG in August 2000 as a sports reporter and anchor. Since January 2001, he has also served as the station’s sports director. Feldman received five local Emmy Awards during his time with WTTG, three of which were for Best Sports Anchor. In 1987, Feldman started working as a broadcaster at San Francisco’s KCBS 740 radio station. Beginning in 1988, he worked for KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa, before going on to KMST (now KION) in Monterey, California, and finally, the Orange County Newschannel in Santa Ana, California. Feldman joined ESPN in 1996 and stayed there for four years.
