Carl Quintanilla is an American journalist, currently working as co-anchor of Squawk on the Street on CNBC. Quintanilla has covered a variety of stories for CNBC and NBC News since joining NBCUniversal in 1999. He was a correspondent for “Today” and “NBC Nightly News” from New York and Chicago, covering events such as the Olympic Games, presidential elections, and international military conflicts ranging from Israel to Iraq. He shared a national Emmy Award, the DuPont Award, the RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award, and the Peabody Award—broadcast’s top honor—as part of NBC’s coverage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. (more…)
