She was listed as one of Boston Magazine’s “100 Most Influential Bostonians” and was selected “Best News Anchor” by Boston Business Women. Being selected as the commencement speaker by the Regis College class of 2023 was one of her proudest memories.
She enjoys interacting with fans on social media and updating them on current events. Amaka worked as a reporter in Orlando, Florida, Omaha, Nebraska, and Redding, California, before coming to Boston. She received her degree from the University of Miami.
